Thank you art4d magazine for inviting us to be a part of this special issue (#242.)
Our interpretation of a message from a New Year card His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej gave to the public in the year 2001:

“ปีใหม่เป็นอนาคต ปีเก่าเป็นอดีต
วันนี้เป็นวาระที่จะทบทวนหาบทเรียนของอดีต
และเตรียมฟันฝ่าปัญหาของอนาคต”

“The new year is the future.
Old years are the past.
Today is a time when we look back and search for lessons from the past and prepare to overcome problems that lie ahead.”*

 2001 (๒๕๔๔)

Logo design for our friend’s real estate development company in Nagoya, Japan. The geometry of this logo is inspired by the top view of a century-old traditional Japanese house owned by the family. This house is one of a handful of buildings in Nagoya that have survived through Second World War.

The top view, as interpreted by our client, also represents God’s / Satellite’s eye views, a combined belief in faith that protects the property through difficult times and technology that helps gear the company forward into the future.

Here are the images of “Thai Rise” exhibition catalog designed by our studio. The main design feature includes key visual design inspired by the diverseness in Thai folk culture. The catalog cover comes in five colors.

The exhibition is open to public at Frankfurt Book Fair 2015 until this Sunday, October 18, 2015.
