A home-away-from-home for a well-traveled couple

Inspired by the clients’ desire to build a home that distinctly reflects the moment and place in their lives, the design of this private residence aims to achieve harmonious living brought about by design and technology that represent the best in our time. While ubiquitous technology is subtly blended with the environment to provide comfort and convenience, the interior, adorned with luxurious Thai silk and motif wallcoverings ⁠— for sense of place⁠, is punctuated with contemporary furniture and accessories with exquisite functional and artistic qualities. The Belgian-chocolate-inspired color palette purposefully sets a bold backdrop for the clients’ books, objects, and collectibles, which echo their sense of playfulness, the love of art & design, and the memories of their life journey together.
