Located on the 4th floor of the 50th Anniversary Memorial Building at Chulalongkorn University, the Chulalongkorn Business School Academic Offices support multiple academic programs, including BBA, DBA, Commerce, and Master of Management.

Traditionally, these offices functioned as segmented, program-specific workplaces, prioritizing operational efficiency while limiting interaction, adaptability, and a shared sense of identity.

Today, academic environments are evolving. Offices are no longer merely places to perform tasks; they are increasingly spaces where knowledge is exchanged, collaboration is cultivated, and values are experienced.

In response, the CBS Academic Offices are reimagined under three key objectives:

A smart workplace that supports efficiency, productivity, and well-being
An interface to the world that enables interdisciplinary interaction
A reflection of institution values, expressed through the spatial environment

The zoning strategy is developed through a study of the relationship between varying levels of privacy and adaptability required for each function. This framework organizes spaces along a gradient, from more public and adaptable zones to more private and controlled zones. The resulting layout reduces spatial redundancies, streamlines circulation, and minimizes unnecessary cross-traffic between different user groups.

Additionally, the spatial efficiency gained through this reorganization creates opportunities for new programmatic functions, including private study rooms for visiting scholars and a shared recreational space that connects the offices. These additions balance focused work with informal interaction, encouraging spontaneous encounters across programs and strengthening a sense of community within.

แนวคิดของงาน:
แนวความคิดในการออกแบบของโครงการนี้ คือการสื่อสารตัวตนของสำนักงานหลักสูตรผ่านการใช้งานจากภายในออกสู่ภายนอก โดยการสร้างสภาพแวดล้อมที่ส่งเสริมความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีทั้งทางร่างกาย จิตใจ และการรับรู้ของผู้ใช้งาน ควบคู่ไปกับการสนับสนุนปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างมนุษย์กับมนุษย์ และภารกิจโดยรวมของสถาบันการศึกษา

ความสง่างามในบริบทนี้จึงไม่ได้จำกัดอยู่เพียงภาพลักษณ์ของพื้นที่ หากยังรวมถึงความคิดสร้างสรรค์ที่แฝงอยู่ในกระบวนการทำงาน และการจัดการทรัพยากร เพื่อหาความสมดุลที่ลงตัวระหว่างประโยชน์ใช้สอยและรูปแบบ รองรับความหลากหลายของผู้ใช้งาน และผสานคุณค่าจากอดีต ปัจจุบัน และอนาคตเข้าด้วยกัน

สภาพแวดล้อมภายในสำนักงานจึงทำหน้าที่เป็นทั้งพื้นที่สร้างแรงบันดาลใจในการทำงาน พื้นที่แลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ระหว่างหลักสูตร และพื้นที่ที่สนับสนุนการพัฒนาอย่างต่อเนื่อง ไม่เพียงสำหรับผู้ใช้งานภายใน แต่ยังสะท้อนตัวตนและคุณค่าของภาควิชาออกสู่ภายนอก เพื่อสร้างประสบการณ์ที่น่าจดจำแก่สาธารณะต่อไป
