LOUNGE FURNITURE NO. 2102

This furniture collection was conceptualized to complement a living room in one of our residential interior projects. Aesthetically, the design represents an exercise in sculptural balance between structure and user interaction. Truthful to the materials and purposes, the form of each piece is reduced to its essence. This results in an intersection of a straightforward wooden structure with exposed joinery details and a smooth, sumptuous surface where it is in contact with the body.

Displayed in this gallery are lounge chairs, a center table, a game table, and a bench in finishes customized for an elderly-friendly residence. The furniture frame is made with balau wood, a hardwood typically used for architectural framing, coated in dark natural oil. The seating is upholstered with 100% recycled polyester in dark teal, velvet-like, low-sheen fabric, emphasizing the understated elegance sought for our space.
